Artist's Description
Supercell Strike - By Douglas Berry. This is a rare looking low precipitation thunderstorm near Arcadia, NE on May 26, 2013. This type of storm is commonly nicknamed "mothership" for its shape similar to a UFO. This was one of the best storms I have witnessed as a storm chaser in the past 15 years. Comments are greatly appreciated.

Wow!! What a fantastic capture! I've always been fascinated with weather and all of its manifestations. . .but I would NOT want to be chasing, or be anywhere close to these amazing phenomena if I can at all help it. I'll just enjoy viewing the work of people like you. :) Amazing!!
Douglas Berry replied:
Thanks Carolyn, it takes a lot of time and safety measures to set up for shots like these. I love it, heading out this May again!
